Crafted from salvaged wood, this mesquite and matte black epoxy mantel or desk clock is a focal point of warmth and beauty in any room. Beginning with a slab selected for its extreme thickness, wild live edge and intricate grain pattern full of figuring, knots and flame, shaped and combined with a matte black epoxy that fills the voids with depth and sinuous movement then paired with a large 3 ¾" clock face that features a silver metal bezel, glass insert and all metal exposed gears.

Meticulously sanded to 320 grit and finished with 2 coats of hard wax oil, cured for 3 days before an additional coat of maintenance oil is applied. This multistage finishing process is designed to provide the greatest possible resistance to moisture, heat and wear while beautifying and enhancing the natural wood grain. So beautiful, you won't be able to keep your hands or eyes off it!
