How to install the batteries and change the time on your new desk clock.

When your new desk clock arrives, you will need to follow a few simple steps to install the batteries and set the time on the piece.

1. Place a towel or similar soft surface on a flat steady work surface.

2. Place the clock body face up on your padded work surface.

3. Remove the clock by stabilizing the clock body with one hand and firmly grasping the bezel with the other and pulling the clock up out of the clock body.

4. With the clock removed from the body carefully remove the glass face and packing material.

5. Flip the clock works over and remove the battery cover.

6. Install 1 AAA battery (not included) and replace the cover and set the time.

7. Place the glass onto the clockworks and secure the bezel over the glass by pushing in and twisting counterclockwise to engage the bezel locking tabs.

8. If needed, reposition the gasket that holds the clock works secure before returning the clockworks to clock body cavity.

9. Your new clock can be wiped down with a microfiber cloth to remove any smudging on the bezel.
